Graduate student Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW)
The 3-day Graduate Student Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) are professional development sessions for graduate students interested in enhancing their instructional skills. Through a learner-centered approach, participants will work closely with peers and facilitators, who are also UBC graduate students, from across disciplines to reflect upon and improve their teaching.
Teaching portfolios
These one-on-one consultations and workshops help instructors develop and enhance their teaching portfolios: a document that contains carefully selected and representative artifacts of one’s teaching.
Teaching practice development
These one-on-one consultations, offered by the Teaching and Learning Professional Development team, help the UBC teaching and learning community achieve a specific goal related to teaching and learning.
